Helpful tips before you move from Maz!

  1. Call your lawyer and schedule a meeting to discuss closing arrangements.  It is important to have a meeting scheduled with your lawyer at least 8 days before the closing date.
  2. Make arrangements to obtain Property Insurance for your new home.
  3. Book the movers.   You can visit www.ottawamoversdirectory.ca to select the movers of your choice!
  4. Arrange to have Hydro, Enbridge, Telephone and Cable TV connected on the day the sale closes to the address of your new home. 
  5. Call Canada Post and arrange to have your mail redirected to your new address.  Canada Post will need to change the lock and administer a new key
